The Month of Nazareth 2010 was a great gathering. Under the leadership of Mike Smith of GA 9 men gathered in early July at St. John Seminary, Camarillo, CA, north of Los Angeles until the end of the month. They spent the first week sharing their individual life experiences of faith and life in the Fraternity. During the 2^nd week they explored some of the charisms of Blessed Charles of Jesus [de Foucauld] and did some work of beautifying the seminary grounds and trees. During this week our guest, Deacon Reginaldo Miranda arrived from Sao Paulo, Brazil where he had just completed a month of service required by his Seminary. He was immediately welcomed into the Month of Nazareth community. He will be ordained a priest on December 18, 2010 in the Cathedral of St Paul by the Cardinal of Sao Paulo.

The 3^rd week brought the brothers who came for the ‘embedded retreat’ which was led by Jim Murphy of Ireland. In total there were 40 men present for his presentations which became known as “wisdom with humor” and rightly so. Jim’s ability at story telling with a purpose is well known in many parts of the world and that now includes the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and other areas of the USA.

The final week had the focus of discerning the benefits that each man gained from the Month and how those elements will effect his future.
